I'll Associate YOUR Producer!
Kevin was our saving grace. For those of you who have dabbled in filmmaking, all I need to say is that we filmed 11-14 pages a day. Laymen, that quantity of pages per day on an indie set is INSANE, some would say IMPOSSIBLE. Day in and day out, Kevin was our omniscient leader. Fielding questions from every department, pushing us to hustle (but still knowing when to crack a joke), capitalizing on every spare moment during the shoot, Kevin was the reason we got through it all. Aside from his massive organizational prowess, he is a creative soul with a clear vision and impeccable impulses. There is no doubt he is a filmmaker to watch.
So my worst subletting story happened to me when I was living on 122nd and Broadway. It was a great neighborhood and I loved the experience. I sublet the apartment for 5 months, until one day I came home to see a padlock on the door. Turns out I had been paying rent all those months, but the person I was subletting from was pocketing the case...so I found myself ass'ed out. -KP
